When you sign up to one of our CDN packages we automatically create a CDN hostname like: h024jfn.hostingme.co.uk however you may wish to create a custom CDN hostname like: cdn.hostingme.co.uk
1) To get started, first login to your My Hosting account and navigate to Hosting > My Hosting and click on your CDN package.
2) In the menu, click on Hostnames
3) Under the Custom Hostname heading, enter the hostname you'd like to use e.g: cdn.hostingme.co.uk and press add hostname
4) Next you'll need to setup a CNAME record with your DNS provider. You'll not be able to use this custom name, or enable SSL or Force SSL until this is added.
If you're using cPanel as your DNS provider you can follow our guide here on how to setup a CNAME.
You will need to set the name to the hostname you entered in step 3 and the CNAME to the hostname found in your My Hosting Account.
Once you've completed all the steps above your new CDN hostname will be setup and configured.
If you need any help with the configuration or setup, please reach out to support via live chat or ticket.
